Course structure –B1 & B2 level (SELT)

 

Course: B1 – B2 level (SELT)

Module: CDC-B1B2

Days: TBC (2 days a week)

Taught sessions: 30-40 hours

Number of students: 7 students (per batch)

Entry Requirements : BPC will take the SKYPE interview (audio and video) to check the basic level of english speaking skills of student.
 
Course Structure:

Semester 1

General English A: Listening, speaking and pronunciation, 10 hours per week. This course is designed to help improve your general listening skills as well as your speaking and pronunciation skills.

General English B: Reading and writing, 10 hours per week. This course is designed to help improve your general reading skills including finding information and general writing skills including vocabulary development.

Semester 2

Business English C: 15-21 hours per week. Designed to build on the English skills developed in Semester 1 and focu is given on the business english.

Study and Research Skills D: 8 hours per week. This course is designed to help improve your information collection skills, extend your writing skills and use the College’s learning resources effectively.

English for Academic Purposes E: 8 hours per week. This course is designed to help improve your reading, speaking and listening skills, including giving presentations and understanding lectures, as well as developing your writing style for essays and reports.

Note: In Semester 2: Students have to choose the relevant units between Unit C and Unit D&E)
