The Advanced Diploma is open to anyone who has relevant Diploma level qualifications from the IAM or equivalent. The Diploma can normally be completed in one year as full time and 2 years as part time.

The Advanced Diploma is made up of five units:

1. Administrative Systems in the Organization
2. Strategic Issues in Administration
3. Administrative Management of Resources
4. Human Resource Management and Practice
5. Case Study 2 or Project Report 2

The Units 1-4 are assessed by a 3 hour examination. The paper comprises of a choice of 4 questions from 8, designed to assess the depth and breadth of candidate’s knowledge of the unit. Unit 5 is assessed either by a three hour case study examination or by a 3,000-4,000 project report.

For applying this course you should have a minimum IELTS score of 4.0 in all components

Applicants must provide proof of their scores, ideally an IELTS TRF (test report form), but internationally recognised equivalents (Cambridge FCE, TOEIC, TOEFL, IGCSE, BULATS) will be also be accepted, as will A level equivalent (HSC) In English.

Students can progress from this qualification to the BA (Hons) Degree Programme. Successful completion of the Advanced Diploma entitles students to full membership of the IAM.
